Artist Harumi Norasakkunkit is a native Japanese artist who has been immersed in the art of calligraphy since elementary school. This course is designed for absolute beginners who have never held a brush or worked with ink. It also welcomes more experienced artists looking to refine their stills. Harumi will teach proper brush handling techniques, understanding brush strokes, and how to effectively work with black ink.

Limited capacity, registration required and open through March 27.

Basic art supplies will be provided (Japanese calligraphy paper, loose leaf paper, black calligraphy/sumi ink). You are welcome to bring your own supplies if you prefer.
