1 day | ages 9-13yrs. | Explore portions of the Spokane River Watershed and search for small animals called macroinvertebrates which are enjoyable to find, and useful indicators for stream health! We will be joined by knowledgeable and fun staff from the Spokane Riverkeeper. The day will begin with some fun games and community building activities. Participants will then be transported by van to the confluence of the Spokane River and Latah Creek for engaging exploration and learning.

Bring shoes that can get wet, small backpack, water bottle, and a lunch. Guides, equipment, and transportation provided. Meet at Riverfront Park – Washington Parking Lot located at 809 N. Washington St.
