Activity Details

“Discovering DNA” walks participants through the scientific method and shows them how to extract DNA from a strawberry. A demonstration AND active hands-on experiment will be provided for attendees. Participants will be provided with worksheets to take home and instructions on how to do this experiment at home.Children under age 9 should have a caregiver to assist in the learning. Children under 6 will be offered age-appropriate activities such as coloring and quiet toys.
