1 day | ages 16yrs. & Up | Hike time: ~4 hours | Terrain: moderate up/downhill ~570ft elevation gain/loss  This beautiful snowshoe hike takes us to the pristine Bead Lake in Colville National Forest just north of Newport. The trail offers amazing views of the lake and surrounding area. While on this hike you will travel through ancient cedar forests, and over some of Bead lake’s tributary streams. Some wildlife you might see deer, elk, northern goshawk, and many more. Come and enjoy a very peaceful snowshoe with some spectacular views! Great hike for photographers.
