Located on the lower South Hill of Spokane, we offer ballet, contemporary, and tap for preschoolers through teens. Weekly classes run September-May, but enrollment is open through the end of February. We also hold special camps and workshops throughout the year. Dancers at Sandra’s are inspired by a rigorous curriculum and nurtured by a caring environment.
Our studio is affiliated with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). Headquartered in London, the RAD sets an international standard for quality dance instruction. Our ballet students are taught an age-appropriate RAD curriculum through which they can learn a progression of ballet steps. Each year we offer students the opportunity to participate in RAD exams to encourage proper technique, musicality, and appreciation of the art and discipline of ballet. We do not participate in competitions but celebrate our growth with an end-of-year recital. Our teachers truly care, and their well-planned classes encourage dancers of all ages and abilities to express themselves through movement while finding the self-discipline that will help them grow. They provide effective feedback and are skilled at accommodating individual needs.
