SYSA is excited to bring the energy of NHL Street to Spokane’s young athletes! In partnership with the NHL, this new program introduces the fast-paced, inclusive, and action-packed world of street hockey—no ice skates or experience required. NHL Street is built to make hockey more accessible and to create a safe, positive space where kids can play, grow, and have fun.
Each weekly session features 30 minutes of skill-building—focused on teamwork, movement, and stick-handling—followed by 30 minutes of live gameplay in a supportive, high-energy environment. With an emphasis on character, community, and confidence, players will learn the game while developing valuable life skills. Athlete provides athletic clothes and a water bottle.
